The day started off with our team doing a program for children ages 3-5, which was the first time we were able to do that. It was exciting to take part in ministering to the little kids, whom Jesus wants to come to Him. Seeing them dancing around and smiling was an awesome thing. After an hour with the kids we had team time where all the students filled out evaluation forms for themselves to assess their spiritual growth throughout the summer. I think it was good for them. Then we went to Polaris Mall and escaped from the heat for a little bit and enjoyed some shopping (the girls did at least). Following that we were invited to the Secrest’s house, where we were graciously given time to swim and have a fun time, and they even provided dinner for our whole team. From there we headed back to the Westerville 4th Friday event and just sought to minister and share Christ Jesus. The Lord in His power and wisdom produced a strong thunderstorm, so it got cut short, but we did whatever we could to reflect Christ well. So overall it was a good day. Pray for our team as tomorrow we will minister to Clearview Church in New Albany. Pray for Sunday and the busy day it will be. Finally, the National team, Ed Lewis’s favorite OB team, wants to wish Ed a happy birthday! God bless guys!
