Happy Forth of July! Our Thursday began with the news that all the teams were being taken on an island hopping adventure.  We suited up and headed for the beach and our boat. Coach Clod was our guide as we moved across the waters to our first snorkeling spot, dancing to the music and having a ton of fun. When we reached our first spot, those who had snorkeled before jumped right in, while others took a bit of time getting used to the idea of breathing through the snorkel.  But once they got the hang of it, everyone was enjoying the awesome colors and beauty  just below the surface of the water in this crystal clear water.  We made three stops, but the last one topped them all.  We saw angel fish, and blow fish, and…well, I really don’t know all the names of the beautiful fish we saw, but it was hard to stop and get back in the boat when the time was up. What a blessing it was to be able to enjoy what God has created.  We were discussing on our boat ride back in just how awesome God is and how amazing that we get to be a part of His plan.  And to think, the God who created all this, loves us.
We were all very hungry when it came time for lunch and we really enjoyed the food prepared by the Filipina cooks.  Then it was prep time for our program tonight and tomorrow when we go back to the Ati village.
When we got up from nap time it began to rain.  And as we travelled to our feeding site, it was pouring down.  So we prayed as we rode along asking the Lord to bring the children out and to allow us to be able to still do our feeding.  And Praise Jesus, the rain ceased while we were there, the children all came out and danced and enjoyed our program and the balloons that continue to be a big hit.  When we were done, and got back into our ride to travel back to the Vista, the rains began again.  We took some time to thank the Lord for His goodness in letting us have that break so the children could be fed.
Tonight we had an American celebration led by the team that is here from Los Altos, California.  It included hamburgers, French fries, watermelon and a cake.  There was singing and reading of the Declaration of Independence.
All in all, another amazing day.  Thanks so much for your continued prayers and support.   Love you all!
