Did I mention that today was a construction day? Yep, we worked construction today at Agape School, but Jared, Dani, and Reba got to be inside the school tutoring with the students today.  Yeah!! It was so fun to walk into that room and see them helping the kids with their words and reading. I think they really enjoyed themselves & the kids seemed to enjoy it too.  Our construction crew poured the top section of the final back wall today!  It was so nice to see how much we were able to do in the weeks we were here.  We worked hard and we could see the results and heard the appreciation of the construction crew as well.  How fun!!
Free time pretty much equals nap time here.  After a long hot day of construction and walking it feels good to be in the air con. It also feels wonderful to be in the water, which is my preference.
Tonight our guide to the feeding site was Jerry. So we boarded three trikes and headed off to our site.  Auti Candy was the leader again and we were greeted by “Hello Bisitors! Hip Hip Houray to Jesus!” They sang some songs for us and we had a great time joining in with them and then they had some fun joining in with us with our puppets and dances. Jerry joined us in one of our dances – it was awesome!  Jared told the story, with translation, about the way that Satan tries to get us to sin with things that look good, but are really empty. After coloring pages, they prayed and were served dinner.  We made balloon creations and learned that Jerry is the master at making balloon designs.   It seemed like a really short night when we had to leave especially since it is probably our last feeding site for our trip.  I am sure we will be processing much as we head home and back to a place where we get three (or more) meals a day.  Please be in prayer for us as we seek the Lord and ask Him to help us process all we have seen and done.
When we returned to the Vista, we were yet again amazed by the view and God’s glory that shines through his creation.  All of the groups stood in awe of our awesome Creator!  Many in our group had good conversations with the new team from Ohio tonight at dinner.  Getting to know other people on mission for Christ is another thing we have enjoyed while here on Boracay.
Tonight’s team time was split guys and girls.  We took some question and answer time and then had a time of prayer.  Then a few of them are taking time to read the Word together outside on the balcony.  Sweet fellowship!
What can I say…it was another fantastic day!
