Delaware Grace has been so good to us during our weekend here so far. We started out this morning with an hour with God and a teaching time with Brandon talking about discipleship. The guy that Brandon disciples, Ian, was able to come and help with this teaching time. It was an awesome representation of a discipleship relationship, and it was great for the students to hear from them. The students asked a lot of good questions and we are praying that this sticks with them as they come home in a few short weeks!
After the teaching time, we had the Delaware famous Mrs. Steele subs and then headed out to a local park to hang out with the Delaware Grace youth group. We spent our entire afternoon out at the park playing games and building relationships with the Delaware students. It was an awesome time of fellowship and students were able to connect with new people for an entire afternoon. It was a great time to relax and do some fun things but also engage with students and learn about their lives and their walks with Jesus. Students went into host homes after our time at the park to spend time with their host families and have time to get to know them better.
It is a prayer of ours that our students be able to engage people, saved and unsaved, with the Good News of Jesus. This afternoon and evening were great opportunities to put that into practice and fellowship with other believers. We are excited that students are learning and applying that well! As always, we appreciate the prayerful support we receive from all of you. Our students and us as leaders are blessed by your prayers!
