July 16- NorthEast, Ministry-palooza

What an encouraging day of ministry! When we woke up the team was able to eat breakfast together and spend an hour with God. Then our group was split up into three different groups, one of which went to the nursing home, another went to walk around the neighborhood and talk with people, and the other helped the church with manual labor.
After that, lunch was served and team went back out to ministry. The team was able to walk through downtown Alexandria with the intention of getting to know people and hoping to share the gospel with them. They had great conversations and some people even came to know the Lord through those conversations!
After this, the students packed up their things and then enjoyed a dinner that was graciously served by the people of Alexandria Grace Brethren Church. Afterwards, we hit the road for Hagerstown, Maryland where we are taking a pit stop to sleep.
Bright and early tomorrow we will hit the road again for Powell, Ohio. It’s crazy to think that we are heading to our last church, but God has certainly been changing hearts and lives this summer, and we are excited for how He will continue to do so once our students go home!
