The Summer of Fun has Just Begun!

June 15th 2015 -Orientation
Operation Barnabas 2015 has begun and students have said goodbye to their families and said hello to choir practice. (So I guess you could say we’re starting the day on a high note!) Game time soon followed and the students were able to participate in a few mingling games led by a couple of the leaders that would allow them to get to know each other.
Soon after we were back to the grind with speech choir, a spoken word choir that both teams will be performing. After a second choir practice we were blessed by Winona Lake Grace Brethren church who provided us with dinner and they were joined by their leaders for quality time before a third choir practice began soon after dinner. (They sound great by the way!!!!)
We left the church to head to the Russell center for a teaching time by T.K, Brandon and Shawn to learn about Barnabas and how we can use his example in our ministries as well as hearing how God has provided for them to be there. We ended the session with a worship song from Stephen.
Well everyone it’s time to end our first day and we are blessed to be joined by the students. Please keep them in your prayers well as the leaders who will be with them this summer. Many praises and goodnight
