This is the second day as teams Indiana and Ohio and the students have been busy all day with choir practice, speech choir and three group practice. They have been working really hard with their three groups, working on pantomimes, dramas and yes…Puppets, plenty of puppets. Today was also the first day that the students were able to meet in their discipleship groups to get to know their leaders and many established goals that they would like to work on this for the summer.
Both teams were able to help Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church to help clean up after their VBS that occurred this week. We were able to join them for lunch and we were able to hear from Pastor Tim Wright about his ministry at the church while the graduating seniors met with Ed Lewis.
After lunch and opportunities students met with Shawn and Taylor to learn children’s ministry and carnival games. They were then joined by Sherilyn they were able to write a letter back home to their church. After a few hours of three group practice, dinner at Winona Lake Brethren Church and more choir practice, they heard from T.K about giving up their fears and handing them over to God. This was followed by a session on servant
hood and students were given ways that they can be servants on tour. Well, it’s getting to be that time again and we need to start getting ready for bed! Check back in tomorrow for more news for Orientation!
Please be in prayer for these students as learn how to be servants this summer and how God will use them this summer.
Many Praises and Goodnight!
