Today was a busy day for the West Coast team! We started the morning hearing a devotional from Gabe. He talked about handing our sins over to God and letting Him take control in our lives. What powerful truth! TK then challenged the students to take what they’ve learned on Operation Barnabas and apply it at home. Students spent time reflecting on their summer and how they’ve grown as we began the debriefing process. Students then spent some time serving at Urban Hope LA and Norwalk GBC by washing windows and cleaning around the youth room and playground. We then had a quick lunch and headed to the railroad tracks to minister to the people living there who are currently homeless. The students had some awesome conversations and got to share the gospel and pray with people. We came back to Norwalk to share about our experiences. For dinner we went to In-N-Out; the students were grateful to experience the California classic one last time! We spent the evening serving at Norwalk GBC’s vacation Bible club. Our students loved hanging with the kids and sharing the love of Jesus with them! Our guys are in host homes and our girls are hanging at the church for the night, and we are excited for a day of ministry and fun tomorrow!

Praise Jesus for the growing opportunities we have had this summer, and the time we have to reflect. Praise Him also for the conversations we have had and how He has been glorified. Pray for our program and ministry tomorrow, that it would be an effective tool for outreach for Norwalk GBC. May God prepare the hearts of the children and families we will minister too. God has been so faithful throughout tour, and we trust that will continue through the last couple days of tour and beyond!
